Sign today: Protect Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge and southern Nevada Public Lands from mining projects!

Proposed mining activity threatens the unique springs of Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge and the wildlife that depend on them.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has proposed a mineral withdrawal on over 300,000 acres of public land that would protect the refuge and surrounding area from new mining claims.

Unless these lands are withdrawn, the region’s unique natural resources could be severely impacted.

The BLM is seeking comments on whether to protect public lands in Nye County. We’re asking Nevada defenders to reach out and submit a comment in support of the withdrawal to help protect this biodiversity hotspot from mining projects!
