Save Orcas and Salmon: Support the plan to restore the lower Snake River!

A powerful proposal could make a huge impact for struggling salmon and orcas in the Pacific Northwest – but so far, our elected officials are dragging their feet to act.

Congressman Mike Simpson (R-ID) recently proposed a broad legislative package to address the crisis facing the region’s habitat and wildlife. The plan would greenlight breaching all four lower Snake River dams, in addition to taking critical steps to support communities and restore salmon.

But lawmakers in Washington, Oregon and Idaho have mostly ignored this plan, focusing on smaller, less impactful plans that don’t address just how severe this crisis is.
