Speak Up: Tell the Trump administration not to repeal the Roadless Rule!

The Trump administration has announced plans to repeal the Roadless Area Conservation Rule, or “Roadless Rule” – putting 45 million acres of national forest lands at risk of being carved up and exploited.

These areas contain habitat for over half of all vulnerable land species in the United States. Animals like jaguars, wolverines, grizzly bears, flying squirrels, warblers, salmon, trout, and salamanders all call these places home. They’re also important because their mountain streams provide clean drinking water to our communities and offer hiking, biking, fishing, and other opportunities for Americans to spend time in nature.

Repealing the Roadless Rule would put countless animals at greater risk, and it would deprive us of some of the last places we can go to experience the natural wonders of our American forests.

The Trump administration is taking comments from the public on its plan to repeal these protections. We’re asking you to speak up before the comment deadline!

Tell the Trump administration that you want to see these intact areas within our national forests remain protected!
